Golfing is pure nature. The renowned golf course architect Kurt Rossknecht set the course perfectly into the surroundings.

Harmonious.Construction of the golf course

We broke ground on the 18-hole golf course in 2009. During construction, we paid attention to ensuring that it conforms to the most ambitious environmental standards. Moreover, it meets international tournament standards. With its length of over six kilometres long and its size of 130 hectares, it is one of the largest by far.

We officially opened the course in 2016. The course hosted the PGA Championship in its first year. Julien Clement, a Swiss golf professional, set the course record of 69, and no one has beaten it yet.

Successful.Among sports fans and employees

The Andermatt Golf Course has made a major contribution to Andermatt’s success as a year-round destination. Various awards confirm this. Every year, about 10,000 golfers visit the Alpine course. And it provides about 25 jobs.
