Team Who we are
Hospitality is the prime focus for the top-notch Andermatt Golf Course team. The emphasis is on quality, customer service and sustainability.
Management.Daniel Speer
Daniel Speer has worked at the Andermatt Swiss Alps AG golf course since 2013, first as Head Greenskeeper and since 2018 as Head of Golf Operations. He is the point of contact for tournament planning, marketing and business development, partnerships and sponsoring, and club memberships, as well as for the areas of sustainability and pro shop.
Front Desk.A warm welcome
Our employees at the golf registration desk under the direction of Hedi Tinner are in charge of greeting guests as they arrive at the Andermatt Golf Course. They are the contact persons for tee time bookings, advice and sales in the pro shop, tournament administration and handling special requests.
Golf Pro. Lee Edwards
The British PGA-A professional Lee Edwards has been looking after our members and guests since 2014. Lee possesses a wealth of knowledge and is also a highly talented golf instructor. Lee can offer every type of golfer the training programme that is just right for them – from beginners to advanced players.
Outside Services. Our marshal team
The marshal team under the direction of Jimmy Keller takes care of the practice facilities and rental equipment, like carts, trolleys and clubs. Marshals accompany our guests as starters on the first tee and serve refreshments during the round. All of our marshals are single-handicap golfers. In addition to providing golf tips, they also offer introductory courses. And they are happy to advise players on purchasing the right golf equipment.
Greenskeeping.High quality
The eight-member greenskeeping team under the direction of Patrik Steffen ensures that the course is in top shape throughout the season. The focus in this regard is on quality and sustainability. The team makes a valuable contribution to the operation of the Andermatt Golf Course, working flexibly and with great commitment in all types of weather in order to improve the course from year to year.
